Las Vegas Valley Model A Club Spring Tour

Several members of my chapter went to Chloride Arizona for its annual St. Paddy's day parade, which was held on Saturday, March 15. We expected a light rain, and were quite surprised to find the blanket of snow this morning! The two cars in the photo are a 1931 Sport Coupe owned by Del Hering and my 1931 Deluxe Tudor. We were parked in front of Yesterdays Restaurant, which is adjacent to Sheps Miners Inn, where we stayed the night.

After breakfast we swept off the cars and headed back to Las Vegas. We followed the county snow plow for five miles to the main highway, and no one got stuck or slid off the road. 03/16/08

Treasure Valley A's Spring Tour

The Treasure Valley "A"s of Boise and Nampa, Idaho had their annual Spring/Frank Leonard Memorial tour March 15, 2008.

Twenty Model As turned out as well as some more modern iron.

Wichita Regional Meet - Submitted by Don Setser

On June 11-15, 2007, the Wichita A's Model A Ford Club hosted "A" Jubilee on the Prairie, a regional meet in Wichita, KS. We had 160 registered Model A's, and 277 people attend the five day event.

Nine states were represented, and there were cars and people from as far away as Virginia and California. Two of the California attendees were MAFCA President George Fontaine and his wife Barbara.

2007 Central California Regional Group Jamboree -- submitted by Craig Tomlinson:
"The CCRG Jamboree was hosted by our club, the Blossom Trail A's of Reedley, California. Over 225 registrations, 385 attendees, and over 150 Model A's attended! The Grand Tour was to Yosemite Valley on Saturday, a 80 mile round trip, from the host hotel, Tenaya Lodge at Fish Camp."
