MAFCA National Tour - Texas Hill Country
We will be gathering in Texas’ famous Hill Country for MAFCA’s 4th National Tour. The Hill Country provides a unique opportunity to experience historic towns, breathtaking scenery all the while never being more than 100 miles from San Antonio. During your visit you will have the opportunity to visit the world famous River Walk and the historic Alamo where the battle for Texas’s independence began. Or, how about visiting one of the Lone Star state’s renowned honky-tonks, Gruene Hall where George Strait got his start and his friends like Willie Nelson or Meryl Haggard have been known to show up. If antique shopping is something you enjoy, you’re in luck, many of the small towns are famous for antiquing and boutique shops.
But, don’t forget the TOUR. You will enjoy miles of small country roads winding through the renewed Hill Country. With little traffic, each small town will offer something unique and memorable. Each day is designed to be around 100 miles of driving, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy the sites and experience the small town atmosphere. We will be staying in New Braunfels, Marble Falls, Fredericksburg and Kerrville and visiting Wimberley, Blanco and Luckenbach.
Fenced in parking will be provided for tow-vehicles and trailers and we will have both a kickoff party to meet old and new friends and going home dinner too say your goodbyes. Be sure to be part of this special event.
