[Image] 1929 Ford Model A mail truck -- Jul 20, 2008
This is a very rare original 1929 Ford Model A mail truck from Sanford, ME. The truck was driven by Leslie W. Topham for 24 years. He delivered mail in Sanford. The truck was in Ripley's Belive It Or Not in 1953 because he put 150,000 miles on it and never left Sanford. That is equal to 6 times around the world. He passed away in 2001 at the age of 102 years old. A article about him and the truck was in the local paper. Not much has been done to the truck since Leslie delivered mail. It runs good. The wood is in good shape considering what it has been through.
