Strange Looking PDF Files?
April 27 - Some of our members have commented that PDF files that are displayed from our web pages look "funky" or "blurred" when displayed on their computers. Your webmaster has noticed the same thing - web browsers use different techniques to display PDFs within their programs. I've been able to make that problem go away if I change how the browser displays PDF file. Going into the program's preferences, I select a different way to handle PDF files.
If all of that sounds like gibberish to you, don't fret. Try using a different browser and see if it handles the PDF files better. When a PDF file is downloaded to your computer and you open it outside of your web browser, it will display just fine since Adobe Reader (on Windows computers) or Preview (on Macs) have no problems displaying PDF files. --Rick Black
