The Ponca City Team consists of Team Leaders J.D. Hanks, Mel Mallory, Judy Mallory with Team Members Bart Suter, Kyle Millemon, Michael Nash, Seth Wood, Ibrahim Mohedas. The day we met up with the team they had a mishap. Someone hit a rear fender making their less than enjoyable. It's still an experience on how to pick yourself up and keep on going. That's a good life lesson.

Team Walla Walla is led by Team Leader Don Gibbard with Team Members Daylan Gibbard, Jeff Peterson, Jeremy Davidson-McCloy, Lucas Southern, Dominic Deccio. It was wonderful meeting them. Polite young men who are great ambassodors for MAFCA and the car hobby.

Also met another team driving a Model A. They are from Charleston, SC. This is there first year in the race driving a 1930 Tudor Sedan. They are having a great time. They plan to participate next year. I gave them all the information to apply for financial help from MAFCA. I talked with a friend in S.C., Doug Skinner who gave me some insight on the hard work and dedication these young men went through preparing for the race.

Wish I could have spend more time with the teams before heading over more mountains toward home. I am looking forward to working with the teams again next year.
