1931 Victoria Owned by Garth Moore of New Zealand Photographed here on the Kaikoura (Pacific) Coast. We were on the way to the annual Art Deco week but it was cancelled due to a lock down following a virus outbreak. As a small island nation, we are lucky that the virus has been fairly well controlled, but there can be sudden disruptions to daily life. It is sobering to see the figures from the US and Europe. Next trip is to the NZ Model A National Rally early April. Fingers crossed. Posted 03/11/21 |

One side of my family lives in Mexico City. This is a photo of Mr. Carlos Carranza’s 1931 Victoria in Mexico City. He has had the car since he was a very young man. In 2005 he was kind enough to take my daughter to the church service that took place on her traditional 15th birthday celebration. Submitted by Dave Ball in Rockville IL |

This is a 1931 Phaeton that has been lengthened and installed on a van chassis by Pierre Philippe, Pujaut, France. He writes: My Ford A phaeton 1931 was built by Société Ford in France, in 1932/1933, on a van chassis. It may be later that she was turned into Phaeton 5 places, but I do not know when. It was completely renovated in 1992/1993 by two young men in Marseille who sold it soon after to a person to whom I bought it in early 2017. There was a problem with the engine, which I disassembled and entrusted to a repairer with whom I had difficulties. At the beginning of 2018 I bought a rebuilt engine at Schwalm's in Strasburg PA I quickly put it in place and I've driven 9000 miles. He is doing very well. I made small improvements with parts bought from Snyder's or Mac's. Posted 10/05/20 |
