International Model A Day 2017

Plans for an International Model A Day began in 2008 when Bruce Adams and others came up the idea for this event. 2009 would be the first year of this annual event.

Many chapters celebrated International Model A Day on the weekend of September 10-11 2016. Several groups plan to send accounts of their events to share with us on the MAFCA web site. Here are a few that have arrived:

The Meadowlark Model A Club of Omaha Nebraska took a nice long tour on International Model A day and sent in our miles for the 100K challenge. One of our stops was the Black Ellk-Neilhardt Park in Blair Nebraska.

Keith Costello Meet Chair New Hampshire Lakes Region Model A Club.
We made a YouTube video of the 61st New England Meet Model A Grand Tour to the base of Mount Washington, NH on Saturday Sept 16th. International Model A Day. About 29 minutes. There are still shots and action shots of the A’s on the way to Mt. Washington. ~ 180 A’s participated. 32 A’s went up to the summit. We traveled 52 miles from North Conway to Mt. Washington and ~ 28 miles on the return.

Lee Jackson of the Rogue Valley A's in Medford Oregon sent along this photo of the lineup of cars at their annual Tri-Chapter Field meet on Model A Appreciation Day. 3 local chapters and 14 cars and dozens of people enjoyed car games, a Hubley Derby, and a great potluck lunch.
