Links - Cars and People

The intent of this section is to provide links to educate and assist our members to restore their Model A Fords. These sites include Model A, classic/antique vehicle, or historical automotive-related information. Since MAFCA is a non-profit organization, we do not link to sites that are commercial or political.

The selection of each link is carefully considered. If you have suggestions for additional links, please contact webmaster@mafca.com. Every suggestion will be considered on its own merit. Thank you.

Organizations

A list of Model A Organizations is on the Reference Desk page and includes the names and addresses for MAFCA, MARC, and MAFFI.

Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA) Action Network is a lobbying group for promoting legislative solutions for the Auto Hobby.

This trade association consists of a diverse group of manufacturers, distributors, retailers, publishing companies, auto restorers, street-rod builders, restylers, car clubs, race teams and more. SEMA members make, buy, sell and use all kinds of specialty parts and accessories to make vehicles more attractive, more unique, more convenient, faster, safer, more fun and even like-new again.

The California Department of Motor Vehicles is making an effort to encourage Californians to utilize its Web site, www.dmv.ca.gov. Customers can now complete many DMV transactions online without ever visiting a field office - saving time and money. California residents can find a variety of information and complete DMV-related transactions including renewing their driver licenses, vehicle registration, change of address and appointment scheduling.
